Kitchen Fitting
A recent kitchen that I fitted in a renovation. This kitchen includes built-in appliances and full-height cabinets which were custom-designed to fit flush to the ceiling, eliminating gaps where dust can accumulate.
Roof Carpentry
I recently completed this installation of a double-ended hip roof on an annexe, as well as fitting all fascias, soffits and guttering.
I recently built a fully cut roof on an annexe, which included dormers to add extra space and light. The roof was constructed using traditional methods, with each timber cut and fitted on-site to match the building’s shape. This allowed for a more flexible design and made it easier to include the dormers. The finished roof is strong, well-fitted, and adds character to the annexe while improving the space inside.
Bespoke Carpentry
This built-in wardrobe was supplied by the customer and fitted by myself in an unusually-shaped room.
The customers asked for a bespoke MDF shelving unit to be installed in an alcove next to a fireplace. I designed and fitted this myself and the customers were very happy with it.
This solid oak bookcase was created to allow the customer to store his books in one place. It was designed and built to the customer's specifications.
I built storage under the stairs to make better use of the space. I added cupboards that fit neatly into the area, making it easier to keep things tidy and organised. It’s a smart way to use space that would otherwise be wasted, and it looks clean and fits in well with the rest of the room.
First-fix Carpentry
Pictures below show various examples of stud work that I have completed recently in a renovation.
Second-fix Carpentry
Second-fix carpentry is important because it adds the finishing touches to a building, such as doors, skirting boards, and architraves, helping to complete the interior and make it ready for use.
Decorative Panelling
A few examples of decorative panelling that I have installed in a bathroom and downstairs toilet.
Carpentry Repairs
I was asked to make new doors for this summer house as the old ones were rotten and beyond repair. This involved designing, building and installing the glass panes.
